{"id":618,"date":"2015-03-08T11:33:38","date_gmt":"2015-03-08T11:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thebeingpractice.com\/?p=618"},"modified":"2020-03-30T14:19:29","modified_gmt":"2020-03-30T13:19:29","slug":"international-womens-day-an-inspirational-radio-interview-for-victims-of-stalking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.karendeeming.com\/index.php\/2015\/03\/08\/international-womens-day-an-inspirational-radio-interview-for-victims-of-stalking\/","title":{"rendered":"International Women&#8217;s Day &#8211; An inspirational radio interview for victims of stalking"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.you-revolution.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/radio-interview-dream-corner.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-951\" title=\"radio interview dream corner\" src=\"http:\/\/www.you-revolution.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/radio-interview-dream-corner.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"299\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>A true stalking story<\/h2>\n<p>I was in mid 20s and life was absolutely perfect, or so it seemed\u2026. \u2026\u2026\u2026..<\/p>\n<p>I had a huge circle of friends, an amazing social life, my own home and car and to put the icing on the cake, a handsome blonde haired, blue eyed boyfriend that was charismatic, adored by family and friends and most importantly could dance and cook which was very important to me in those days\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Little did I know about the horrific nightmare that lie ahead, and one that would haunt me and my family for years to come.<\/p>\n<p>Following a series of unpleasant jealous outbursts and frequent displays of unhealthy psychopathic type behavior, I finally decided to leave this boyfriend who I shall refer to as \u201cP\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This resulted in a relentless flow of phone calls from \u201cP\u201d over the next few weeks threatening to commit suicide if I did not \u201cgo back to him because no one would ever love me as much as he did\u201d Nonetheless, I resisted my impulse to reunite with \u201cP\u201d because I realised that I would only be returning out of pity and not because I wanted to be with him\u2026<\/p>\n<p>This was difficult for \u201cP\u201d to accept so he left his well-paid job to stalk me. This lasted for at least six months.
